Happiness is a choice!

Does it really work for the average person?

Is the largest online wellness shopping club in North America a MLM? Is it a pyramid? Does it really work for the average person? These are a few ‘frequently asked questions’ I get everyday from people that are sick of the daily job, commute, being away from their family, etc. but are skeptical and don’t want to just  jump into anything without doing their due diligence. No it is not a MLM, it IS an online shopping club. No it is not a pyramid – it has been around for 30 years and the truth is good enough. Yes, it works for the average person. I think I am very average (and it’s working for me). I didn’t go to college, I got married at 18 years old I raised 5 of my own grown children and helped with 9 more of my husbands. We have 3 children at home and we have 13 grandchildren. I have a lot of responsibility and life happens, such as , change of jobs, death of loved ones, sickness and health problems and regret of not pursuing a career so I can take care of myself and children if anything happens to my husband. I finally found a

I can do it! Louise Hay

I recently read a book call I can do it by Louise Hay, It is one of those books that you need to read on a daily basis. It helps you take responsibility for your own feelings and reactions and master your ‘ability to respond’, in other words, you learn to consciously choose rather than simply react. There are 5 focus points: Romance Job success Creativity Forgiveness Self-esteem Wealth, Health One of the big ones for me is forgiveness. I just have to admit it. I was married for almost 25 years to a man who literally hates me. We are no longer married and haven’t been for 8 years. We are forced to be in the same room for the reason of 5 children. I am not scared of him, I don’t hate him, I am grateful that he gave me 5 incredible children. I am grateful he divorced me so I could move on to a new and better me. I was recently at a baptism for our 8 year old grandson. I came around the corner of the church and our eyes met. I enthusiastically said, “Hi, …..” He ignored me and gave a grunt of discuss.

I want to be “the boss of me!”

I was attracted to working from home, on my own time, and giving myself a raise, right from the young age of 7. I believed that hard work and opportunity was all I needed. I just couldn’t see myself being bossed around! I wanted to be “the boss of me.” Now I realize we are all the boss of ourselves. If we don’t like how things are, we can change them. I proved to be an entrepreneur from an early age; by selling pony rides; teaching gymnastics to my neighbors in my basement, lawn, trampoline;  giving horse riding lessons and training horses before I could even drive! A “JOB” seemed so confining.  My mom was a professional seamstress and many times I would come home from school and ask if I could have some material and make myself a shirt. With her help we created all time. So with this skill in place, when I went to apply for a  job as a seamstress, I was asked if I could show her something I had sewn, I said, “Yes, this shirt I have on” She said, “You are hired.” This job enhanced the skill of sewing to a new degree.

Life is good, welcome to earth Esther

I am so happy that I have “good guys” in my blood and they are winning! I feel so much better. It was so interesting how all of a sudden I knew my body was on the mend. That I was winning the battle inside me. The fever left and I became hungry! Perfect timing because we have a new granddaughter! She is so tiny and sweet and we have matching hats!. Her name is Esther.          This is one of the rewards of having so many children together. The grandchildren keep coming and each and everyone of them are so amazing.  We love them all so very much. Esther is our 13th grandchild and we will be having another grandson in December. There is a lot to live for and many grandchildren and marriages to come. I wonder how old we will be when our prosperity reaches 100? Right now  1/2 of our children are married…OH! it makes me so excited. Life is good! Life is worth living!
