Loves and kisses from grandchildren are the best. These two really want a dog and they got use to Kakoa really fast. We went for a walk and they learned that they are in charge, not the dog.
They like Kakoa to lick them, which I really don’t like her to lick me so it was good to have a break from licking.
Being a step parent can get overwhelming but it is especially overwhelming for the kids. My kids and step kids have 20+ step siblings. Some are very close and some hardly know each other. When it comes to grandchildren they can never have enough grandparents! Grandchildren are so wonderful, and so is having a big family to love.
