Happiness is a choice!

I Am Tired, But Life is Good

A year ago I was a in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho at the State Junior Miss-Distinguished Young Women Pageant with some good friends and having a ball. We laughed, shopped and ate, oh did we eat, and I had a stomach ache that kept me up all night. It didn’t keep me from having fun, but I just hurt.

The Doctor says that the Lymphoma that is invading my body at this time is fast growing, 3-6 months, but I was having issues then. Lots of heartburn and just plain an “ouchy” stomach. It hurt to push on it and I was bloated. I was better off just not eating much, but what fun is that?

I know what the doctor says and he is a specialist on lymphoma, but I also know this stomach issue has been going on for quite some time.

It has been a week since my last RCHOP (chemo) treatment and I am feeling much better.  I need to remind myself that it gets better.

I had the privilege of opening another gift from Heather, and I get to work on gratitude.

I get to make my own song about my favorite things, good friends, people come and visit, and good food! It is so nice, food is tasting more like it is suppose to!20150918_151725 (1)

The Butts’ stopped by on the way to Harmon Park to go for a horse ride and hear the elk bugle. Hugs and kisses from grandkids are the best! My daughter is always full of surprises and brought me a bunch of darling clothes! She washed and hung them all up. It was so good to be able to be by my big daughter for a bit and play with her hair. I miss how long hair feels.

Jim and I went to a  business meeting tonight. It was good to be out and about, visit and learn.
