Once a Bonneville Bee always a Bonneville Bee, with that being said.
My personal mentor is Suzanne A. Wells and we only converse over email, YouTube messages, Facebook Messenger. Because of many commitments, I am not quite ready to move to the next level with her mentorship. She is the real deal. In the future, I will connect into her paid system l. For now, I am learning from her free content. She has hundreds of YouTube videos that she uses for teaching tools. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=suzanne+wells+
She has taught me to ship internationally. I was very fearful to try this and with her mentorship, I was able to jump into a new world of shipping all over the world. I learned to adjust my posts to get better results. I would always set a price and she taught me to negotiate. She feels that it is her calling to help people with eBay and be successful. She interviews people that are sellers. She shares this with the public. I have learned to buy specialty items that are low cost to sell and a high profit. She has a Monday video that people share items that they sold over $100. This is great to learn from and has been a great benefit.
Her background is in banking and when she was laid off and found herself as a single parent, she started looking at sells online. She needed to support her family and started selling on eBay. This has grown to a large business of selling and mentoring others. She has taught me the importance of having several eBay stores and also selling on Amazon. This has changed my life and my family’s life as well. I struggle with numbers and finding products after they are sold. She has helped me solve this problem. Because of her example, I hired an assistant. Someone who is strong in organization and spreadsheets. I took Suzanne’s video that she explains his and gave it to my assistant and she has created Google sheets and spreadsheets for my business. I have helped with this process, but it is more effective to have her make the spreadsheets. I can go through them and update the information that I know, such as the original price of the item and when I bought it.
For years I had piles of clothes on tables that needed to be sorted a washed. They are now all in bins that are in the process of getting labeled and put into Google seats. I am able to send a bin home with my assistant, she can post the items and put them into the spreadsheet at her home. The system is working well. I am putting over 20 hours a week into this business personally and my assistant is anywhere from 5 to 10 hours week. We work together once a week for 4 hours
The more I get to know Suzanne the most successful I feel like she is. She has not put all of her eggs into one basket. She has more than one eBay store and also sells on Amazon. She teaches others so she gets money for mentoring. She gives to the community and helps others support themselves. Much of this is volunteer work. She is continually learning and growing herself. Hs is on two social media platforms primarily on YouTube, and Facebook.
He knows the rules with eBay and has put me in my place when I in break the rules that I didn’t know existed.
She has taught me the items that I should not waste my time selling. I enjoy selling the high-profit niche items and have proven these lessons are worth learning. I have learned how to take higher quality pictures and how to get the best price out of an item. I know how to search and find out what a similar item has sold for in the past. How to calculate shipping into the full price. Learning how to find the best shipping for a larger item is helpful. When to use Fedx and when to use USPS. Then I print the labels at my home for a discount.
We recently bought a new refrigerator. Because of these lessons, I learned to take the good parts off of the old refrigerator and sell them on eBay. People are thrilled to get a working bottom drawer for their refrigerator for a fraction of the cost. The install men were amused and were taking off parts and saving them for me to sell. This would be a great side job for someone who installs and hauls off refrigerators! I have learned to sell my husband’s old 501 jeans that are torn and old. I personally go through my closet and sell what I am not wearing. My children will give me the clothes that they no longer need and I sell them. Then I give new clothing to them or they can buy them for the cost of the item.
Suzanne has taught me to sell anything that our family is not using. The running joke with my family is, “if they leave it out to long it may be listed on eBay and sold before they notice.”
I have had people ask me how to get started selling on eBay. I made my own video to help others. One girl told me that she has watched it several times. That she is my personal stocker! I love it. I am Suzanne’s personal stocker. This journey has just begun and I plan on working with her for years and building my business alongside her.
