Happiness is a choice!

What is your passion? Do you follow it?

Magdalena Yesil is a lifelong learner and because of that, she is having a long exciting career that is ever-changing. She is a self-learner. She has gone from career to career and followed her passion in life.  Presently she has a podcast 150: Magdalena Yesil: Investing in Salesforce, The Cloud & Smart Women, Friday 4th October 2019. I look forward to listening to her podcasts. Here the last podcast is Build a Tribe of Millionaires w/David Osborn and Pat Hiban. This is evidence that Magdalena is continuing to be a lifelong learner. This episode is almost 2 hours long. She is in-depth and real. “She continues to tell stories how her hunch-driven risk-taking has made all the difference in her entrepreneurial career.”      https://lochhead.com/150-magdalena-yesil-investing-in-salesforce-the-cloud-smart-women/

“I admire that she is a problem solver. She actually likes it and is a master at it. This habit of solving problems and welcoming them benefits her career today. She takes these skills seriously in life and business problems.” Lockhead podcast

If I was Magdalena I would take the offer from USVP. It may not make as much sense as for investments, but it is her passion. You need passion to be successful, it a front driver situation. I am personally passionate about my, “I am a happy girl shop.” I started wandering and shopping when I needed to deal with the loss of my 18-year-old son, Tex. He passed away 4 days after being diagnosed with influenza. I wandered the stores for after Christmas clearance items for a full month. Shopping kept me busy, gave me purpose, you gave me joy and the thrill of finding a good deal. Others didn’t understand my hours of wandering and shopping. Shopping gave me purpose. I discovered that I can shop and then sell, over and over again if I open up an online shop.

I can go to thrift stores, spend money and have no guilt. I fill my car full of treasures and give to those in need. My family and friends are a benefactor to my findings.  I always have a gift for a special occasion. I have felt the Holy Ghost calm my anxiety when I fill a shopping cart to the brim. This is a blessing to me and others.

Having a career and family life is difficult. That is why I have been adamant to work from home from the beginning. I have had opportunities throughout my life to work outside of the home. I like working for myself and making my own schedule and giving myself a raise. My children are no longer in the home needing me, but I have found that I continue to like this kind of lifestyle. Magdalena had a mom to help her and that could have been a different story for me. My daughter had an incredible opportunity to finish her college education with a scholarship with many benefits. I wanted there to do it, it was a wonderful opportunity. She just had given birth to her third child, in her heart, couldn’t do it, but she would have if I lived close to her and could have taken care of the children. As my daughter, if I had a mother that was willing and able to step in I would have done what Magdalena did if it was my passion, and I knew that God was guiding me on that path.

Transiting from entrepreneur to the financier is a stepping stone. Magdalena is an example of helping others. This is where she shines. I admire her and would like to do the same with my life. Transitions to each step with grace and have the attitude “How can I help? Who can I help?”
