Every time I run into Jeanne Isom it is like we didn’t miss a beat, we are best friends. Our paths have crossed throughout the years and we can talk about anything. That is why when I go to the farmers market Downtown Idaho Falls and when I see her, we go right into our family reunion mode.
The Isom’s Fruit Farm is the “Home of the Honeycrisp Apples” It is a family business that is worth talking about. The cider is sold out in the 1st hour and the apples are sorted so you get the best for your buck. The apples have been picked in the last 3 days and will last in your fridge until Thanksgiving.
Jeanne makes homemade caramel apples like none other. She actually gave me the recipe and I have been working for years to perfect it. She is so kind to give a plate and a cover to the mouth watering caramel apple lovers.
If you want one apple for your lunch, a small bag for the week or a box the Isom’s have them for you and this is the place to stop! You might even get another best friend!
