Thirty-six days until my last treatment! When I think of 36 days, just a little over a month, it sure sounds better than two thirds of the way done with treatments, or even two more treatments. I am going to focus on the 36 days. Yesterday was one of those days I wondered if I was really going to live through any another chemo treatment. My breath was shallow and my heart felt like it is working extra hard, much of the day I felt lifeless. When I walked up the stairs my legs burned like they just climbed a mountain. So I slept a lot, and ate cheese, like a crazy mouse.
I have been taking amazing Oligo multi-vitamins and also omega 3’s, in a yummy creme peach mango form, yey! yumminess!!
Today I woke up with a lot more energy, and a much more hope for the future. The rest and the nutrition did well for this girl. I have been using Frankincense oil with coconut oil on my arms and body and the picks and prods are healing up quite nicely. The Doctor said I am testing slightly anemic so I upped the vitamins to prenatal and b-shot supplements and it should be of help. The test results will tell.
I have been eating apples and their seeds on pretty much a daily basis. The seeds are known as a cancer killer and the apples taste so delightful this year. It can’t hurt right?
I have been using a diffuser with oils and the lemon grass which makes our home smell fantastic.
These are some of the things I am doing for myself, to treat my body well. I believe with all my heart that because I have been good to my body, my body is working hard for me. I have always exercised and taken vitamins and supplements. My mom supported and encouraged natural healing along with a big emphasis on eating healthy. I have been taking a complete supplement pack for 6 years. I felt really strong about taking these and now I know why. I am tolerating this chemo, life saving poison considerably well compared to many others. I feel blessed and I believe I will come back with lessons learned and a bright future.
Here is to 36 days!
